Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Landlord Electrical Safety Certificate: A Must-Have for Compliance

Electrical safety is a top priority for landlords. A landlord electrical safety certificate verifies that a property’s electrical systems and appliances are safe to use. At Landlords Checks, we provide trusted and efficient electrical inspections.

Why Do Landlords Need Electrical Safety Certificates?

Since 2020, landlords in the UK must ensure that all electrical installations in rented properties are inspected every five years. This requirement:

  • Protects Tenants: Ensures the safety of occupants by identifying potential hazards.

  • Avoids Legal Issues: Non-compliance can lead to fines of up to £30,000.

  • Maintains Property Value: Regular inspections keep the property in good condition.

What Does an Electrical Safety Inspection Include?

  • Testing of fixed electrical installations, such as wiring and sockets.

  • Identifying risks or faulty systems.

  • Providing an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR).

Why Choose Landlords Checks?

Our qualified electricians conduct thorough inspections and provide clear, actionable reports. Visit Landlords Checks to schedule your electrical safety check today.
