Order 17880

Order 17880 I am extremely disappointed with the service. 1) The inspector did not show up for the scheduled appointment. 2) Nobody bothered to call me to inform me that the inspector would not come, and I had taken a day off from work specifically for this appointment. 3) I called customer service four times to reschedule, and every single time, I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, nobody ever did. 4) They charged me for a service that was never performed, and it looks like they are having serious difficulties actually delivering what they promise. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I have not seen such blatant disregard and ignorance towards a customer in a very long time. I have wasted my time, money, and energy dealing with a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Avoid this service at all costs!

Landlords in Greenwich Council: The Importance of Asbestos Surveys and Legal Responsibilities

Landlords in Greenwich Council face a critical responsibility in managing asbestos within their properties, particularly older buildings. Asbestos fibers, if disturbed, can lead to serious health risks, such as mesothelioma and lung cancer. Proper asbestos management is essential for tenant safety and for meeting legal obligations.

Legal Responsibilities for Landlords

Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, landlords in Greenwich Council must comply with specific rules to manage asbestos in non-domestic properties and communal residential areas. These include:

  • Carrying out an asbestos survey to identify and evaluate asbestos materials.
  • Creating an asbestos management plan to control exposure risks.
  • Conducting regular reviews and ensuring safe handling of asbestos during repairs or refurbishments.

Neglecting these responsibilities can result in legal penalties and put tenants’ health at risk.
