Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Kingston Upon Thames Fire Risk Assessment & Asbestos Surveys London

Landlords in Kingston Upon Thames must ensure their properties comply with all safety regulations by obtaining the necessary landlords safety certificates. These certificates, from EPC certificates to fire risk assessments, play a vital role in maintaining tenant safety and meeting legal obligations.

Start by arranging an EPC certificate through a certified EPC assessor, who will conduct an energy performance check. This certificate is legally required when renting or selling your property, ensuring it meets energy efficiency standards.

For gas safety, landlords should organise regular landlord gas safety checks. Securing a gas certificate ensures that all gas appliances are safe and functioning correctly. Keeping valid gas certs is essential for tenant safety and legal compliance.

Electrical safety is another key consideration. An EICR certificate confirms that electrical installations in the property meet safety standards, reducing the risk of electrical hazards.

Fire safety is also crucial. Booking a fire risk assessment helps identify fire safety measures and risks in the property. If your property has shared spaces, a fire risk assessment for communal areas or a London fire risk assessment is essential for meeting fire safety regulations.

For older properties in Kingston Upon Thames, landlords should consider arranging an Asbestos Survey to identify and manage asbestos risks, ensuring a safe environment for tenants.

By obtaining these essential landlords safety certificates, landlords in Kingston Upon Thames can ensure their properties are safe, legally compliant, and ready for tenancy.
