Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

London Barnet Government Grants: Unlocking Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings

If you’re a homeowner or landlord in Barnet, London, you may be eligible for London Barnet Government Grants designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy costs. These grants, including the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS), are part of a broader effort to make homes across London more sustainable and affordable to heat. By taking advantage of these programs, you can enjoy significant energy and cost savings while contributing to a greener environment.

What Are London Barnet Government Grants?

London Barnet Government Grants are financial incentives provided by the government to help residents in Barnet and other London boroughs make their homes more energy-efficient. These grants cover a range of improvements, including insulation, boiler upgrades, and draught-proofing. The goal is to reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions, and help households save money on their energy bills.

The Great British Insulation Scheme in Barnet

The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) is a key component of these grants. It focuses on improving insulation in homes, which is one of the most effective ways to reduce heat loss and energy usage. In Barnet, many homes, especially older properties, can benefit from loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, and solid wall insulation. By participating in the GBIS, you can:

  1. Lower Energy Bills: Proper insulation ensures your home retains heat, reducing the need for constant heating and saving you money.

  2. Increase Comfort: Insulated homes stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer, creating a more comfortable living environment.

  3. Boost Property Value: Energy-efficient homes are more attractive to buyers and tenants, potentially increasing your property’s market value.

  4. Reduce Carbon Footprint: By using less energy, you’re helping to lower carbon emissions and combat climate change.

Landlord Checks: Ensuring Quality and Compliance

For landlords in Barnet, ensuring that energy efficiency upgrades meet government standards is crucial. Landlord Checks are government-approved services that verify the quality and compliance of insulation and other energy-efficient improvements. By using trusted providers like Landlord Checks, landlords can ensure their properties meet the required standards, making them eligible for London Barnet Government Grants and improving tenant satisfaction.
