Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Asbestos Survey Cost: What You Need to Know in 2025

If you’re planning an asbestos survey, understanding the asbestos survey cost is essential. The price varies depending on factors like property size, survey type, and location. For a residential property, costs typically range from £150 to £500, while commercial properties can cost between £500 and £2,000. More complex surveys, such as refurbishment or demolition surveys, may be higher due to the detailed sampling and analysis required.

The type of survey also impacts the cost. A management survey, which is the most common, is generally cheaper than a refurbishment or demolition survey. Additionally, urgent reports or larger properties will increase the overall price.

While it may be tempting to opt for the cheapest option, always choose a certified and experienced surveyor. Cutting corners on cost could lead to inaccurate results, putting your health and legal compliance at risk. Investing in a thorough asbestos survey ensures the safety of occupants and helps you avoid costly fines or remediation work later.

If you’re unsure about the cost, request quotes from multiple surveyors and compare their services. Look for UKAS-accredited professionals to ensure the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
