Order 17880

Order 17880 I am extremely disappointed with the service. 1) The inspector did not show up for the scheduled appointment. 2) Nobody bothered to call me to inform me that the inspector would not come, and I had taken a day off from work specifically for this appointment. 3) I called customer service four times to reschedule, and every single time, I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, nobody ever did. 4) They charged me for a service that was never performed, and it looks like they are having serious difficulties actually delivering what they promise. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I have not seen such blatant disregard and ignorance towards a customer in a very long time. I have wasted my time, money, and energy dealing with a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Avoid this service at all costs!

Asbestos Survey: Ensuring Safety and Compliance

Asbestos, once a popular construction material, is now known to pose significant health risks. For landlords, conducting an asbestos survey is crucial to ensure tenant safety and meet legal obligations. Here’s what you need to know.

What Is an Asbestos Survey?

An asbestos survey identifies the presence and condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in a property. The survey provides recommendations on managing or removing these materials to minimize risks.

Why Do Landlords Need an Asbestos Survey?

  1. Health Risks: Exposure to asbestos fibers can lead to serious health conditions, such as asbestosis and lung cancer.
  2. Legal Requirement: The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 requires landlords to manage asbestos risks in their properties.
  3. Tenant Safety: Identifying and managing asbestos ensures a safe living environment for tenants.

Types of Asbestos Surveys

  1. Management Survey: Identifies ACMs in good condition and assesses their risk during normal occupancy.
  2. Refurbishment/Demolition Survey: Required before any major renovation or demolition work.

Costs of an Asbestos Survey

The cost varies depending on the property size and complexity, typically ranging from £150 to £500.
