Order 17880

Order 17880 I am extremely disappointed with the service. 1) The inspector did not show up for the scheduled appointment. 2) Nobody bothered to call me to inform me that the inspector would not come, and I had taken a day off from work specifically for this appointment. 3) I called customer service four times to reschedule, and every single time, I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, nobody ever did. 4) They charged me for a service that was never performed, and it looks like they are having serious difficulties actually delivering what they promise. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I have not seen such blatant disregard and ignorance towards a customer in a very long time. I have wasted my time, money, and energy dealing with a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Avoid this service at all costs!

Barking & Dagenham Council Asbestos Survey London

Asbestos can be a hidden danger in buildings, especially older properties. In Barking & Dagenham, it is crucial for landlords to stay aware of the risks and legal responsibilities surrounding asbestos. This harmful material, once widely used in construction, can pose serious health risks if disturbed, leading to life-threatening illnesses such as mesothelioma and lung cancer.

Legal Responsibilities for Landlords

Under UK law, landlords have a duty to manage the presence of asbestos in their properties. The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 outlines the legal requirements for identifying and managing asbestos in non-domestic properties, including communal areas of residential buildings. Landlords must:

  • Conduct an asbestos survey to identify the presence and condition of asbestos.
  • Assess the risk of exposure to tenants, visitors, and maintenance workers.
  • Implement an asbestos management plan if the material is present.

Failing to comply with these responsibilities can lead to significant penalties and put lives at risk.
