Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

City of London Council Asbestos Survey London

In the City of London, landlords face significant legal responsibilities when it comes to managing asbestos in older buildings. Asbestos fibers, when disturbed, can cause serious health issues such as mesothelioma and lung cancer. Proper asbestos management is vital to ensuring tenant safety and legal compliance.

Legal Responsibilities for Landlords

Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, landlords in the City of London must take specific steps to manage asbestos in non-domestic properties and communal residential areas. These responsibilities include:

  • Arranging an asbestos survey to locate and assess the condition of asbestos.
  • Implementing a detailed asbestos management plan to control exposure risks.
  • Regularly monitoring asbestos and ensuring safe removal or handling during maintenance work.

Failing to comply with these regulations can result in heavy fines and legal consequences, while also putting tenants at risk.

How Landlords Checks Can Assist

Landlords Checks provide thorough inspections and asbestos management services to help landlords in the City of London meet regulatory requirements. Landlords Checks conduct comprehensive Asbestos surveys, risk assessments, and develop tailored asbestos management plans, ensuring buildings remain safe and compliant.
