Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

City of Westminster Fire Risk Assessment & Asbestos Surveys London

Landlords in the City of Westminster must ensure their properties comply with all necessary safety regulations by obtaining essential landlords safety certificates. These certificates, including EPC certificates and fire risk assessments, are crucial for maintaining tenant safety and meeting legal requirements.

Start by arranging an EPC certificate through a qualified EPC assessor, who will conduct an energy performance check. This certificate is legally required when renting or selling a property, confirming that it meets energy efficiency standards.

For gas safety, landlords should conduct regular landlord gas safety checks. Securing a gas certificate ensures that all gas appliances in the property are safe and functioning properly. Keeping updated gas certs is essential for tenant safety and legal compliance.

Electrical safety is also important. Obtaining an EICR certificate confirms that the electrical installations in your property are safe and meet required standards, helping to prevent electrical hazards.

Fire safety should not be overlooked. Arranging a fire risk assessment evaluates the fire safety measures in your property. If your property includes communal areas, a fire risk assessment for communal areas or a London fire risk assessment is necessary to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

For older properties in the City of Westminster, consider scheduling an Asbestos Survey to identify and manage any asbestos-related risks, ensuring a safe living environment for tenants.

By securing these essential landlords safety certificates, landlords in the City of Westminster can ensure their properties are safe, compliant, and ready for tenancy.
