Order 17880

Order 17880 I am extremely disappointed with the service. 1) The inspector did not show up for the scheduled appointment. 2) Nobody bothered to call me to inform me that the inspector would not come, and I had taken a day off from work specifically for this appointment. 3) I called customer service four times to reschedule, and every single time, I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, nobody ever did. 4) They charged me for a service that was never performed, and it looks like they are having serious difficulties actually delivering what they promise. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I have not seen such blatant disregard and ignorance towards a customer in a very long time. I have wasted my time, money, and energy dealing with a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Avoid this service at all costs!

Electrical Installation Condition Reports: Why Every Landlord Needs One

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is more than a legal requirement for landlords—it’s a vital step in ensuring the safety of tenants and properties. In this blog, we dive into the importance of EICRs and what landlords need to know.

What Is an Electrical Installation Condition Report?

An EICR is a detailed inspection and assessment of a property’s electrical systems. It highlights:

  • Faulty wiring or components.

  • Potential hazards or risks.

  • Non-compliance with safety standards.

Why Is It Important for Landlords?

  1. Legal Compliance: Current regulations mandate landlords to provide tenants with an EICR every five years or at the start of a new tenancy.

  2. Tenant Safety: Faulty electrical systems can lead to fires or electrocution.

  3. Peace of Mind: An EICR ensures that your property’s electrical systems are safe and functional.

Costs of an EICR

The cost typically ranges from £99 to £300, depending on property size and complexity. Hiring a certified electrician is essential for a thorough and reliable inspection.

How to Schedule an EICR

Landlords Checks offers certified EICR services starting at £99. Our experienced electricians ensure compliance and tenant safety with detailed reports and expert recommendations.
