Order 17880

Order 17880 I am extremely disappointed with the service. 1) The inspector did not show up for the scheduled appointment. 2) Nobody bothered to call me to inform me that the inspector would not come, and I had taken a day off from work specifically for this appointment. 3) I called customer service four times to reschedule, and every single time, I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, nobody ever did. 4) They charged me for a service that was never performed, and it looks like they are having serious difficulties actually delivering what they promise. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I have not seen such blatant disregard and ignorance towards a customer in a very long time. I have wasted my time, money, and energy dealing with a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Avoid this service at all costs!

Energy Performance Check: Why It Matters for Landlords

Energy efficiency is a growing concern for property owners and tenants alike. An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) provides insights into a property’s energy efficiency, helping landlords improve performance and meet legal requirements. Here’s a detailed look at EPCs and their benefits.

What Is an Energy Performance Certificate?

An EPC is a document that rates the energy efficiency of a property on a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It also includes recommendations for improving efficiency.

Why Do Landlords Need an EPC?

  1. Legal Requirement: UK law requires an EPC for properties being sold or rented.

  2. Attract Tenants: Energy-efficient homes are more appealing to environmentally conscious tenants.

  3. Cost Savings: Implementing recommendations can lower energy bills and increase property value.

How Much Does an EPC Cost?

The cost of obtaining an EPC typically ranges from £70 to £120, depending on the property size and location. The certificate is valid for 10 years.

How to Obtain an EPC

At Landlords Checks, we provide hassle-free EPC services starting at £70. Our qualified assessors ensure your property meets energy efficiency standards and complies with legal requirements.
