Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

EPC Certificate Register: A Vital Resource for Landlords

The EPC Certificate Register is a centralised database where all valid Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are stored. It allows landlords, tenants, and property buyers to access vital information about a property’s energy efficiency. Maintaining up-to-date records on the register is essential for compliance and transparency.

What Is the EPC Register?

The register contains detailed reports of EPCs for residential and commercial properties. It serves as proof of compliance with energy regulations and is required when renting or selling properties.

How to Access the Register

  1. Visit the official EPC register website.
  2. Search for your property using the address or certificate number.
  3. Download or view the certificate to confirm the current rating.

Why It Matters

  • Legal Requirement: EPCs must be registered to validate their authenticity.
  • Easy Reference: Enables landlords and tenants to access energy efficiency data easily.
  • Compliance Proof: Helps landlords avoid legal penalties during audits or disputes.
