Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Fire and Risk Assessment Hounslow: Your Duty for Property Safety in London

As a landlord or property manager in Hounslow, London, the safety of your tenants and the security of your property are your paramount concerns. A fundamental element in upholding this responsibility is the diligent undertaking of a fire and risk assessment. This isn’t merely a procedural requirement stipulated by UK law; it’s a proactive and crucial step that can significantly diminish the potential for fire and its often devastating consequences.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 clearly assigns the responsibility for fire safety to the ‘responsible person,’ typically identified as the landlord or property manager. Neglecting to comply with these essential regulations can result in substantial financial penalties and even potential imprisonment. Therefore, a thorough understanding and conscientious implementation of a fire and risk assessment tailored to your Hounslow property are absolutely indispensable.

A fire and risk assessment involves a systematic and detailed evaluation of a property to identify all potential fire hazards, meticulously assess the risks associated with these hazards, and establish appropriate and effective control measures. This process encompasses several vital stages: the comprehensive identification of fire hazards, including potential ignition sources, fuel sources, and oxygen sources. In a residential context within Hounslow, common hazards might include issues such as overloaded electrical outlets, unattended cooking appliances, and the improper storage of flammable materials. Another crucial stage is the precise identification of all individuals who might be at risk in the event of a fire, including tenants, visitors, and any contractors working on the premises. Particular attention must be paid to identifying and addressing the needs of vulnerable individuals. Following this, a detailed evaluation of the identified risks is conducted. Once all hazards and at-risk individuals have been identified, the subsequent step involves a careful assessment of the likelihood of a fire occurring and the potential severity of its consequences, taking into account all existing fire safety provisions. The meticulous recording of all findings and the formulation of a clear and actionable plan are equally important. The significant outcomes of the fire and risk assessment, including all identified hazards, the assessed levels of risk, and the control measures that have been or will be implemented, must be formally documented. The action plan should provide a clear roadmap for addressing any identified deficiencies. Finally, the process necessitates regular reviews and updates. A fire and risk assessment is not a one-time undertaking; it demands periodic review, particularly following any significant alterations to the property or changes in its occupancy. While a specific validity period is not legally mandated, an annual review is generally considered best practice.

Engaging the services of qualified professionals to conduct your fire and risk assessment in Hounslow offers the invaluable assurance that the assessment will be carried out with meticulous attention to detail and in strict compliance with the most current legal requirements. These experienced professionals possess the specialized knowledge to identify potential hazards that you might inadvertently overlook and can provide tailored and expert advice on the essential fire safety measures specifically required for your property.

By placing a high priority on a comprehensive and professionally conducted fire and risk assessment, landlords in Hounslow can effectively meet their legal obligations, ensure the continued safety and well-being of their tenants, and protect their valuable property investment. Remember, fire safety is an ongoing commitment that demands continuous vigilance and the implementation of proactive measures.
