Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Fire Risk Assessment Price: Understanding Your Costs

Determining the fire risk assessment price is a key part of property management in London. Understanding what factors influence this cost is essential for budgeting and legal compliance. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 mandates these assessments, so knowing what to expect is crucial for property owners and managers.

The price of a fire risk assessment is not a fixed amount. It depends on several variables, including the property’s size, its complexity, and the type of building. You’ll typically find prices starting around £79 for smaller properties, but larger or more intricate buildings will naturally cost more. Getting quotes from reputable assessors is essential to ensure you’re getting a fair rate for a thorough evaluation.

A detailed fire risk assessment involves several steps. A qualified assessor will first identify potential fire hazards, like faulty electrical systems or flammable materials. Then, they’ll evaluate the risks associated with these hazards, considering the likelihood of a fire and its potential impact. Next, they’ll assess existing fire safety measures, such as alarms and extinguishers. Finally, they’ll provide a report with findings and recommendations for improvement. This report is vital for showing compliance and implementing necessary safety measures.

Fire risk assessments need regular review to remain accurate. Typically, an annual review is recommended, but more frequent reviews may be needed depending on changes to the property or its occupancy. Changes like renovations or alterations in building use can necessitate a new assessment. In a dynamic city like London, consistent reviews are particularly important.

Adhering to fire safety regulations is about more than avoiding penalties; it’s about protecting lives. A comprehensive fire risk assessment is a crucial step in ensuring occupant safety.
