Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Finding a Fire Safety Surveyor in London: Ensuring Your Property's Protection

For landlords and property owners in London, ensuring comprehensive fire safety is a non-negotiable responsibility. A key element in achieving this is engaging a qualified fire safety surveyor. This professional plays a vital role in identifying fire hazards, assessing risks, and providing expert advice to keep your property and its occupants safe. If you’re looking for a fire safety surveyor in London, this guide will help you understand their importance and how to find the right expert.

A fire safety surveyor is a specialist who conducts thorough inspections of properties to evaluate their fire safety measures. Their expertise covers a wide range of areas, including fire risk assessments, fire door surveys, compartmentation checks, and the overall compliance of a building with fire safety regulations relevant to London. They possess a deep understanding of fire science, building regulations, and the legal requirements outlined in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which is crucial for properties in London.

The responsibilities of a fire safety surveyor in London can include conducting detailed fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards and evaluate existing fire safety measures. They may also carry out specific surveys, such as fire door inspections to ensure they meet the required standards for fire resistance, and compartmentation surveys to check that the building is properly divided to prevent the spread of fire. Furthermore, a fire safety surveyor can provide expert advice on fire safety plans, procedures, and necessary remedial actions to ensure compliance and enhance safety in your London property.

When seeking a fire safety surveyor in London, it’s essential to look for individuals or companies with the right qualifications and experience. Relevant qualifications can include NEBOSH Fire Certificates, degrees in building surveying or fire safety engineering, and membership with professional bodies like the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with a fire safety specialization. Experience in conducting fire safety surveys for similar types of properties in London is also a significant factor to consider.
