Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Gas Safe Certificate Cost: What London Landlords Need to Know

For landlords in London, ensuring the gas safety of their rental properties is a legal requirement. Understanding the gas safe certificate cost is crucial for budgeting and compliance. The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 mandates that landlords must obtain an annual Gas Safety Certificate, also known as a CP12, from a Gas Safe registered engineer. This certificate confirms that all gas appliances, flues, and pipework are safe for use, protecting tenants from potential hazards like gas leaks and carbon monoxide poisoning. This blog will explore the cost implications and the importance of this essential safety measure for London landlords.

The gas safe certificate cost can vary, influenced by several factors. These include the number of gas appliances in the property, the complexity of the gas installation, and the location within London. Generally, landlords can expect prices to start from a competitive rate. It’s crucial to obtain quotes from Gas Safe registered engineers to ensure you’re getting a fair price and a thorough inspection. Choosing a reputable provider ensures that the inspection is conducted to the highest standards, safeguarding both your tenants and your property.

The process of obtaining a Gas Safety Certificate involves a Gas Safe registered engineer inspecting all gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and gas fires, as well as the associated pipework and flues. The engineer will check for gas leaks, ensure proper ventilation, and verify that all appliances are functioning correctly. They will then provide a detailed report, which serves as the Gas Safety Certificate. This certificate is valid for 12 months, and landlords are legally required to provide a copy to their tenants within 28 days of the inspection or at the start of a new tenancy. This process ensures ongoing safety and compliance.

The validity of the gas safe certificate is 12 months, meaning landlords must renew the certificate annually. This regular inspection is crucial for maintaining safety and compliance. Failing to obtain a valid Gas Safety Certificate can lead to severe penalties, including fines and even imprisonment. More importantly, it puts tenants at risk of gas leaks, carbon monoxide poisoning, and other gas-related hazards. Regular inspections are a crucial part of responsible property management in London.

To obtain a reliable and compliant Gas Safety Certificate in London, consider using professional services conducted by Gas Safe registered engineers, ensuring your property meets all legal requirements. Investing in a Gas Safety Certificate is not just about compliance; it’s about protecting lives and maintaining a safe living environment for your tenants. Ensure your property is safe and compliant by booking your gas safety certificate today. For reliable services, visit Landlords Checks Gas Safety Certificate.
