Order 17880

Order 17880 I am extremely disappointed with the service. 1) The inspector did not show up for the scheduled appointment. 2) Nobody bothered to call me to inform me that the inspector would not come, and I had taken a day off from work specifically for this appointment. 3) I called customer service four times to reschedule, and every single time, I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, nobody ever did. 4) They charged me for a service that was never performed, and it looks like they are having serious difficulties actually delivering what they promise. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I have not seen such blatant disregard and ignorance towards a customer in a very long time. I have wasted my time, money, and energy dealing with a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Avoid this service at all costs!

Gas Safety Cert: Essential Compliance for Landlords

A Gas Safety Certificate, or CP12, is a legal requirement for landlords in the UK. It ensures all gas appliances, pipework, and flues within a rental property are safe to use. At Landlords Checks, certified engineers provide professional inspections, guaranteeing tenant safety and property compliance.

Why Is a Gas Safety Certificate Important?

  1. Legal Requirement: Annual gas safety checks are mandatory for all rental properties.
  2. Tenant Protection: Prevent risks such as gas leaks or carbon monoxide poisoning.
  3. Peace of Mind: Demonstrates responsibility and professionalism to tenants.

What the Inspection Covers

Gas Safe-registered engineers assess:

  • Boilers and heaters.
  • Gas hobs and cookers.
  • Flues and ventilation systems.
Upon successful completion, landlords receive a Gas Safety Certificate, valid for one year.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failing to obtain a valid certificate can result in fines of up to £6,000 or imprisonment. Moreover, landlords risk invalidating their property insurance and endangering tenants.
