Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Gas Safety Register Check: Ensuring Compliance and Safety in London Properties

For landlords and property managers in London, ensuring gas safety is a legal requirement and a critical aspect of responsible property management. While the provided service focuses on obtaining Gas Safety Certificates (CP12), understanding how to check the Gas Safe Register is equally important. This guide explains how to verify the registration of a gas engineer and why it’s crucial for maintaining safety and compliance.

The Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas appliances. Before hiring a gas engineer to conduct a Gas Safety Certificate inspection or any other gas work, it’s essential to check their registration. This ensures they are competent and qualified to perform the necessary tasks, protecting tenants and properties from potential gas-related hazards.

Checking the Gas Safe Register is a straightforward process. You can visit the Gas Safe Register website and use their online search tool. You can search by the engineer’s name, company name, or Gas Safe registration number. The register will confirm whether the engineer is currently registered and what types of gas work they are qualified to carry out. It’s also advisable to ask the engineer to show their Gas Safe Register ID card, both the front and back, to verify their credentials on-site.

Using a Gas Safe registered engineer is not just a legal requirement; it’s vital for safety. Gas appliances can be dangerous if not properly installed, maintained, or repaired. Carbon monoxide leaks, gas explosions, and fires are all potential risks. By using a registered engineer, you can have peace of mind that the work is being carried out by a competent professional who understands the safety regulations and best practices.

To ensure your property’s gas safety and compliance, always use a Gas Safe registered engineer. While the service provided focuses on obtaining Gas Safety Certificates, remembering to verify the engineer’s registration on the Gas Safe Register is an essential additional step. For reliable and comprehensive gas safety services in London, including obtaining your CP12 certificate, visit Landlords Checks Gas Safety Certificate. Remember to independently verify any engineer’s registration on the Gas Safe Register website.

Ensure tenant well-being and legal adherence by always performing a Gas Safety Register check before any gas work is carried out.
