Well-organised company. Engineer called to say he would arrive in 20 minutes and did.
Order 17880 I am extremely disappointed with the service. 1) The inspector did not show up for the scheduled appointment. 2) Nobody bothered to call me to inform me that the inspector would not come, and I had taken a day off from work specifically for this appointment. 3) I called customer service four times to reschedule, and every single time, I was told that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, nobody ever did. 4) They charged me for a service that was never performed, and it looks like they are having serious difficulties actually delivering what they promise. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. I have not seen such blatant disregard and ignorance towards a customer in a very long time. I have wasted my time, money, and energy dealing with a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Avoid this service at all costs!
I WAS VERY HAPPY HOW MY CASE WAS DELT WITH; - NEXT DAY APPOINTMENT - SAME DAY REPORT - GOOD COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ME AND OFFICE UNTIL MY APPOINTED WAS COMPLETED
Ensuring fire safety in Lewisham is crucial to protect residents, businesses, and public spaces. Conducting a thorough Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) is essential to identify potential fire hazards, assess risks, and implement measures to mitigate them effectively.
Conducting a Fire Risk Assessment involves systematic steps:
Identifying Fire Hazards: Begin by identifying potential sources of ignition, fuel, and oxygen within the premises. This includes electrical equipment, heating systems, cooking appliances, and flammable materials like paper and fabrics.
Assessing Risks: Evaluate the likelihood of a fire starting and the potential consequences if it does. Consider who could be at risk, including residents, employees, visitors, and anyone else who may be present.
Implementing Mitigation Measures: Take steps to remove or reduce identified hazards. This can include proper storage of flammable materials, ensuring electrical equipment is well-maintained, and implementing smoking policies.
Protecting People: Ensure there are adequate fire safety measures in place, such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and clearly marked escape routes. Regular testing and maintenance of fire safety equipment are crucial.
Recording and Maintaining Records: Document all findings from the assessment, including identified hazards, the assessment of risks, and actions taken to mitigate those risks. Keep these records updated and easily accessible.
Emergency Planning and Training: Develop an emergency plan outlining procedures to follow in the event of a fire. Ensure all occupants are informed and trained on fire safety procedures through regular drills and training sessions.
Legal obligations for conducting FRAs in Lewisham are governed by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and must comply with guidelines from the London Fire Brigade (LFB).
