Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Haringey Fire Risk Assessment & Asbestos Surveys London

Landlords in Haringey are required to ensure their properties meet safety regulations by obtaining the necessary landlords safety certificates. These include essential checks like EPC certificates, gas safety certificates, and fire risk assessments to maintain legal compliance and tenant safety.

Start by arranging an EPC certificate with a qualified EPC assessor to carry out an energy performance check. This certificate, which highlights your property’s energy efficiency, is mandatory for renting or selling.

For gas safety, it’s crucial to perform regular landlord gas safety inspections. A gas certificate ensures that all gas appliances are safe for tenant use. Maintaining updated gas certs prevents hazards and legal issues related to gas safety.

Electrical safety is another priority. An EICR certificate confirms that your property’s electrical systems are safe and compliant with regulations, helping to avoid electrical faults and hazards.

To ensure fire safety, landlords in Haringey should conduct a fire risk assessment. This is particularly important for properties with shared spaces, where a fire risk assessment for communal areas or a London fire risk assessment helps ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

Lastly, for older buildings, an Asbestos Survey is essential to identify and manage any asbestos-related risks, protecting tenants from potential harm.

By securing the necessary landlords safety certificates, landlords in Haringey can ensure their properties are legally compliant and safe for tenants, protecting both their investment and tenant well-being.
