Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Islington Fire Risk Assessment & Asbestos Surveys London

Landlords in Islington need to ensure their properties are fully compliant with safety regulations by obtaining the necessary landlords safety certificates. These certificates, such as EPC certificates and fire risk assessments, are crucial for tenant safety and legal compliance.

Start by booking an EPC certificate through a qualified EPC assessor to carry out an energy performance check. This certificate is a legal requirement when renting or selling a property and provides valuable insight into its energy efficiency.

For gas safety, landlords in Islington must conduct regular landlord gas safety checks. Securing a gas certificate ensures that all gas appliances in your property are safe and functioning properly. Keeping updated gas certs is essential for both safety and compliance with the law.

Electrical safety should also be prioritised. An EICR certificate confirms that the electrical systems in your property meet the required safety standards, helping to prevent electrical hazards.

Fire safety is equally important. Arranging a fire risk assessment helps identify any fire risks in your property. If you own a property with shared spaces, a fire risk assessment for communal areas or a London fire risk assessment will ensure your property complies with fire safety regulations.

Additionally, landlords of older properties in Islington should not overlook the importance of an Asbestos Survey. This survey identifies and mitigates any asbestos risks, ensuring a safe living environment for your tenants.

By obtaining these essential landlords safety certificates, landlords in Islington can ensure their properties are safe, legally compliant, and ready for tenancy.
