Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Kensington & Chelsea Fire Risk Assessment & Asbestos Surveys London

Landlords in Kensington & Chelsea are required to ensure their properties meet safety standards by obtaining essential landlords safety certificates. From EPC certificates to fire risk assessments, these documents are key to maintaining tenant safety and ensuring legal compliance.

Start by scheduling an EPC certificate, where an EPC assessor will conduct an energy performance check. This certificate is a legal necessity when renting or selling a property, providing an overview of its energy efficiency.

For gas safety, landlords should arrange regular landlord gas safety inspections. Securing a gas certificate guarantees that all gas appliances are functioning safely. Up-to-date gas certs protect tenants and ensure compliance with the law.

Electrical safety is also a priority. Obtaining an EICR certificate ensures the electrical installations in your property meet required safety standards, preventing electrical hazards.

Fire safety is another crucial consideration. Booking a fire risk assessment helps evaluate fire safety measures within your property. If your property includes shared spaces, a fire risk assessment for communal areas or a London fire risk assessment is essential for fire safety compliance.

For older properties in Kensington & Chelsea, landlords should also arrange an Asbestos Survey. This helps identify any asbestos-related risks and ensures a safe living environment for tenants.

By securing these essential landlords safety certificates, landlords in Kensington & Chelsea can ensure their properties are fully compliant with safety regulations, offering tenants a secure and legally compliant home.
