Poor Service

Very disappointing experience on the 2nd time around. After chasing me to get me Fire Risk Assessment booked in because the previous one was about to expire, ( or more than one occasion unnecessarily). They then tried to charge me for things that are not needed on a risk assessment and i had to be firm with them as i work in property so knew they were just touting for business. I have today received the certificate nearly 3 months after the report was carried out. This was very disappointing especially as i had to continually chase the report . I would not recommend i had a client with a block of 16 flats i could of referred but obviously didn't.

Where’s the refund?

We booked an appointment and paid on 20th Jan. The engineer didn’t turn up and nobody notified us about the issue. The staff agreed to refund us but after 2 months we still haven’t received the refund. Never received any response from them 1 month ago.

Merton Fire Risk Assessment & Asbestos Surveys London

Landlords in Merton must ensure their properties comply with safety regulations by securing the necessary landlords safety certificates. These certificates, such as EPC certificates and fire risk assessments, are vital for tenant safety and legal compliance.

Start by arranging an EPC certificate with a certified EPC assessor to conduct an energy performance check. This certificate is legally required when renting or selling your property, ensuring it meets energy efficiency standards.

For gas safety, landlords must conduct regular landlord gas safety inspections. Obtaining a gas certificate ensures all gas appliances are safe and compliant with regulations. Keeping valid gas certs is essential for tenant safety and legal adherence.

Electrical safety is equally important. An EICR certificate confirms that the electrical systems in your property meet safety standards, helping to prevent electrical hazards.

Fire safety is another crucial consideration. Booking a fire risk assessment evaluates fire safety measures within the property. If your property includes shared spaces, a fire risk assessment for communal areas or a London fire risk assessment ensures compliance with fire safety regulations.

For older properties in Merton, landlords should arrange an Asbestos Survey to identify and manage asbestos risks, ensuring a safe environment for tenants.

By securing these essential landlords safety certificates, landlords in Merton can ensure their properties meet all safety standards, providing a safe and legally compliant home for their tenants.
